Formally, most of these projects fall under RHLC — Residences with Hospitality and Care Services — a real estate category the Government of India has been actively promoting through incentives and dedicated norms since 2024.
In practice, that means barrier-free homes (wider doors, grab rails, no-threshold showers), an on-site or on-call medical team, and a hospitality layer — housekeeping, dining, concierge — that turns daily chores into someone else's job. The goal isn't to remove independence; it's to remove the friction around it.
Every project featured on this site is a genuine RHLC community from an established developer — never a converted regular apartment block being marketed as "senior-friendly" after the fact.
